BELOEIL, QUE. — Quebec-based carbon credit specialist Will Solutions has announced it will use the platform Net Zero Cloud from Salesforce to help develop its Sustainable Communities (SC) service.
Will has aggregated and quantified GHG reductions from hundreds of buildings during the first phase of its SC efforts in Quebec and converted them into carbon credits representing over 6.4 million tons of CO2eq, stated a release. The company says through improved productivity it aims to incorporate hundreds of thousands of buildings into its SC roster and process the billions of transactions necessary to account for and monetize over 100 million tons of CO2eq in the coming years.
The initiative is expected to have a multibillion-dollar impact on the Canadian economy, said Will.
Net Zero Cloud will be used to accelerate carbon footprint and carbon credit accounting for Will customers through its cloud-based architecture, processing, API and AI capabilities.
“In order to reach our new goals, Will is accelerating its digital transformation program. Our improved traceability platform needs the capacity to process billions of transactions. Process automation and intelligence capabilities like Salesforce’s Einstein AI engine are a must,” stated Francois Beaubien, CTO of Will Solutions, in a statement.
