Giatec unveils SmartBooster to enhance jobsite connectivity

Giatec unveils SmartBooster to enhance jobsite connectivity

OTTAWA — A world leader in concrete testing technologies, Ontario-based Giatec has announced the release of a new product that extends connectivity to the firm’s SmartRock wireless concrete sensors.

The SmartBooster extends the range of users’ smartphones’ Bluetooth signal up to 50 per cent, making it easier for contractors to collect concrete data, stated a March 16 release.

SmartBooster is designed to automatically detect and connect with the SmartRock sensors on a user’s jobsite. SmartRock sensors collect real-time data across the site.

“We are excited to release the SmartBooster device to the market. This product will greatly enhance the user experience of our SmartRock customers and, with an extended signal range, reassure them that their safety is guaranteed while collecting data from their jobsite,” stated Giatec director of product development Mustafa Salehi in a statement.
