Decorative Concrete Live! is an outdoor showcase held at the World of Concrete conference in Las Vegas to highlight stunning and unique artistry that sculpts concrete into forms far beyond brick walls and shoring.
Journal of Commerce digital media editor Warren Frey spoke with Bent Mikkelsen, the publisher of Concrete Décor Magazine about the many uses of artistic, sculpted concrete both in commercial and residential settings, and the skills needed to execute decorative concrete projects.
Russell said he branched out to vertical, decorative concrete work because it has allowed him to diversify his business and use disparate skill sets to create art projects like a monstrous green hero smashing out of a concrete wall.
