On this episode of The Construction Record, digital media editor Warren Frey speaks with Gavin Coyle, the “Safety CEO” who is the CEO of the Coyle Group which centers on consulting with organizations to ensure they both maintain profitability and implement high standards of occupational safety.
Coyle’s firm also outsources safety administration to retired experts and others who have necessary safety experience but are looking to freelance. He’s also written a book, “Workplace Safety on a Budget” to help companies save money while they implement safety practices and procedures.
Coyle said part of the value of his approach is that he brings an outside perspective which allows companies to work around their own biases and make sure they have proper safety practices in place.
