WEST LONDON DYKE PHASE 4 REPLACEMENT TENDER REQUEST
The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, on behalf of the City of London, will receive sealed tenders for the supply, delivery, and services required for the project listed above until 12:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Tenders are to be delivered to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority at 1424 Clarke Road London, Ontario N5V 5B9.
This work generally includes the following items:
- Replacement of a 160 m section of the existing the West London Dyke on the west side of the north branch of the Thames River, from Carrothers Avenue to just south of Blackfriars Street;
- Replacement structure is to be a near vertical geogrid reinforced wall with a modular block revetment facing approximately 8.5 m in height;
- Associated landscape, pathways, railing and path lighting; and
- Work to be undertaken within the footprint of the existing dyke structure with a prohibition on work within the Thames River.
Every Tenderer shall submit with their tender document a tender deposit in the amount of $150,000.00 and in the form detailed in the tender documents. The successful Tenderer will be required to furnish a performance and a labour and materials bond, each for 50% of the Contract Price excluding H.S.T., payable to the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.
Digital tender documents may be obtained after 12:00 o’clock noon on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from Stantec Consulting Ltd., at 171 Queens Avenue, Suite 600, London, Ontario.
Mandatory Site Meeting for all Tenderers wishing to submit bids has been scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 9:00 am at the project site (Carrothers Avenue).
