A 20-storey, 154-room hotel is under construction in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. Nova-Con Project Ltd. is the construction manager and Stantec Architecture Ltd. did the design and consulting engineering.
Contractors include Preset Piling Ltd. (foundation), RRS Enterprises (concrete) and Lafarge Canada Inc. (precast).
The hotel will be part of a $75 million 200,000-square-foot structure at Portage Avenue and Donald Street that will also include office and retail space, a restaurant and a 450-vehicle parkade.
