LUMON — The Canadian subsidiary of Finnish firm Lumon will deliver its balcony glass façade system to two highrises located in Maple Ridge, B.C.

MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. — The Canadian subsidiary of Finland-based Lumon will deliver balcony and railing glass systems for two highrise buildings in Maple Ridge, B.C.

The project will consist of first providing a 34-storey highrise building standing 104 metres high with balcony and railing glass systems and the second stage will install a similar system on a 36-storey highrise building that stands 109 metres high.

“We are glad that our long-term co-operation with local authorities in the Vancouver area has paid off and Lumon has been accepted as the supplier of glazing systems. Lumon has clearly been a pioneer in its sector and its quality products and their thorough certification have made it possible to open the market in Canada,” Lumon North America CEO Olli Vanska said in a statement.

“We expect to use the Lumon system in all of our future projects and look forward to the new and dynamic innovations that are sure to come in the years ahead,” Ivan Sun of Vansoho Development Corporation added. Vansoho is the developer of the two highrises.

The two buildings contain a total of 510 units and the balcony glazing systems will be installed in all apartments.
