Suncor, ATCO explore hydrogen project
Suncor Energy and ATCO Ltd. announced today they are collaborating on early-stage design and engineering for a potential clean hydrogen project to be built near Fort Saskatchewan, Alta. The project would produce more than 300,000 tonnes of clean hydrogen per year. It is expected that 85 per cent of the produced hydrogen would be used to supply existing energy demand.
Nabati Foods completes manufacturing facility
Vancouver-based Nabati Foods Global Inc. has completed construction of a new manufacturing facility for plant-based foods. The building is five times the size of the company’s pilot facility and will enable Nabati to house a full research and development department as well as simultaneously produce 1.2 million pounds of plant-based cheese and one million pounds of plant-based meat with room for further production.
EPFC Corp starts construction of Saskatchewan oil rail loading terminal
EPFC Crop are executing a lump sum turnkey project for a 37,500 bbl/d heavy oil loading terminal in Saskatchewan. Detailed engineering is nearing completion with fabrication underway and construction set to begin in early July.
