Capstone has advanced to construction more than 460 megawatts in new solar and wind projects in the Prairies, accounting for more than $850 million in investments, according to a press release. More than 800 megawatts worth of projects are currently in development in Western Canada.

“Alberta is a major focus of our investment and growth, and we are thrilled to establish a permanent presence in Calgary,” said David Eva, CEO of Capstone, in the release.
