VANCOUVER – The 115-year-old Winters Hotel in Vancouver’s Gastown neighbourhood was gutted by fire on April 11.
The City of Vancouver started a rapid three-day demolition starting April 19, which was scheduled for completion on April 21.
A third-party engineering assessment was completed on the morning of April 19, a City of Vancouver release stated, and measures are being taken to contain dust and debris.
