LANIGAN, SASK. — A new kindergarten through Grade 12 school is officially under construction in the Town of Lanigan, Sask.
The Government of Saskatchewan is investing $26 million into the project as part of its $7.5 billion two-year capital plan, reads a news release.
Quorex Construction (Saskatoon) is the construction manager for the project. The school is expected to be finished by the fall of 2025.
The 400-student school will have an area of 4,829 square metres and feature state-of-the-art labs for industrial arts, science, home economics and the arts. The school will also contain a large central gymnasium and secondary smaller gym.
Horizon’s Board of Education is investing $500,000 in the school’s mini gym.
