Terrace Sportsplex nears completion

Terrace Sportsplex nears completion
Phase I of the Terrace Sportsplex, expected to be completed in October, 2007, will include a new ice arena with a 2,000 square foot multi-purpose area for meetings and programs. The new facility is attached to the existing arena and will share the refrigeration plant, ice resurfacer and dressing rooms. The new refrigeration plant will include full heat recovery, with the recovered heat being used to heat domestic water in both arenas, as well as provide pre-heated water to the adjacent aquatic centre. Phase Two of the project will include extensive renovations to the existing arena and aquatic centre.

Phase I of the Terrace Sportsplex includes a new rink and a 2,000-square-foot multi-purpose area for meetings and programs.
