The Edgewood Treatment Facility in Nanaimo is planning for a major expansion.
Plans include a new two-storey structure containing 40 new beds and 13,000 square feet of office space.
Designed by dys Architects, the $10 million expansion is the fourth phase of a multi-phased project.
Construction start is scheduled for fall 2009, pending permit approvals.
Completion is scheduled for fall 2010. The project will be built by Technica Construction.
