Fayolle Canada Inc. and Magil Construction Corp. have opened a new $6.5-million head office in Montreal.
Fayolle Canada has acquired a number of construction-related companies in recent years, including the purchase of Magil in 2009.
Last year, Fayolle Canada made three acquisitions: Task Management Construction, a general contractor based in British Columbia, Excavations Payette, a Montreal-based company that specializes in excavation and civil engineering work, and McKay Cocker Construction, a southwestern Ontario general contractor specializing in industrial, commercial and institutional construction. In 2008, Fayolle Canada also acquired the assets of Groupe SCV, a Victoriaville, Que. company specialized in building mechanics.
“The goal of these acquisitions was above all to take advantage of the unique know-how developed here with a view to having it benefit our vast network of contacts on the international scene,” said Bruno Fayolle, president of Fayolle Canada.
