Matcon Excavation & Shoring Ltd. crews are busy on the project. Demolition and hazmat work is already complete. The project manager for the development is Pivotal Projects Inc. Hughes Condon Marler Architect and Musson Cattell Mackey Partnership are the architects.
The project includes the construction of an eight storey structure, that will house the city’s arts centre, theatre performance space, museum and archives, lacrosse hall of fame, banquet and convention space, as well as other municipal facilities and commercial retail space.
Consultants on the project include GeoPacific Consultants Ltd. (geotechnical), Acumen Consulting Engineers (electrical), Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers (structural), exp Global Inc. (environmental) and AME Group Engineering (mechanical).
