A new Transportation Management Centre is taking shape beside Highway 1 in Coquitlam B.C. EllisDon Corp. is the construction manager.
A number of contractors are working on the project including Syber Concrete Forming (foundation), Vedder Steel (structural steel), Wolf Masonry Ltd. (masonry), Cascade Roofing & Waterproofing (roofing), Western Pacific Enterprises (electrical) and Trotter & Morton Building Technologies Inc. (mechanical) Merrick Architecture BLSF Ltd. is the architect.
This four-storey 80,000 square foot concrete structure building is clad with a combination of curtainwall and composite metal paneling.
The project will be the home to the Transportation Investment Corp., which was created by the provincial goverment to enter into and manage an agreement with a private sector partner for the design, construction, financing and operation of the Port Mann/Highway 1 Project.
