The Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ Board of Directors have announced that they’ve appointed Beverley Briscoe as the new Chair of the Board, effective immediately. She will take over for Robert Murdoch, who announced his intention to step down from the board by the end of the year.

Her resume includes over 10 years as director of Ritchie Bros as well as deputy chair. She also has extensive industry experience in the transportation and industrial equipment sectors.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and is a director on the board of Goldcorp Inc., where she chairs the audit committee.
Briscoe is also a past chair at the Industry Training Authority for B.C. and the B.C. Forest Safety Council.
