REGINA — Three teams have been chosen to proceed with the second stage of procurement for the La Ronge Long-Term Care Centre.
Graham Construction, Quorex Construction Services Ltd. and Wright Construction Western Inc. have been invited to the RFP stage, according to a news release.
La Ronge will be a three-storey, two-wing facility with up to 80 resident rooms, kitchen and living areas, tub rooms, family rooms, a traditional healing space, a serenity room, a commercial kitchen and home care including wound, dental and podiatry suites.
The project will also see the renovation of the existing 16 bed long-term care space. The new space will connect to the existing health centre.
The RFP will close in March with a proponent selected after reviews are complete. Construction expected to begin in the spring or summer of 2023.
