NELSON, B.C. — Hallō Properties has announced a $500 million master-planned community on a mountain plateau in Nelson, B.C.
The project will include over 300 residential units, accommodations, retail and a golf course called The Dodger on a 130-acre site.
A collection of 24 townhomes, called The First Homes, will overlook The Dodger’s fairway with views of the Selkirk Mountains and Kootenay Lake.
“We will develop and operate Hallō Nelson with the intention of creating a legacy project that gives value to the community and surroundings. We want to reflect the authenticity and charm of this remarkable town,” Hallō Properties development principal Graham Kwan said in a statement.
Companies working on the project include Cover Architecture, Harmony Engineering, KWL Engineers, RJC Engineers and Rocky Point Engineering.
Hallō Properties has current developments in Nelson, Revelstoke and the Sunshine Coast of B.C.
Actually the residents of Nelson do not want this project to commence. This was pushed through quickly only because money talks. This will change our community forever and this type of development is not welcome here. Go elsewhere, you aren’t wanted here.
