LED tech venture assists B.C. power grid

VANCOUVER — Streamline Energy Inc., a joint venture of EcoGrid Technologies Inc. and Streamline Electrical, has cut more than 4.5 megawatts of peak power and 2.8 million kWh of consumption from the mainland BCHydro grid.

Streamline provides industrial and large commercial end-user clients Smart LEDs that combine with advanced, fixture-embedded wireless controls. The joint venture called the power savings a groundbreaking achievement in B.C.’s energy sector
