This week on TCR Express, digital media editor Warren Frey and Journal of Commerce staff writer Russell Hixson look at some of the top stories in western Canada, including large cost overruns on the Trans Mountain project which Russell has sourced documentation on and is pinpointing what aspects of the project led to higher costs.

Russell also discusses the cancelled Burrard Skytrain station upgrades and the news that Woodfibre is near to a final investment decision, which could come this year. If approved the project in Squamish. B.C. would be one of the biggest in the province’s history.
