This week’s Construction Record podcast features an interview between Daily Commercial News and Journal of Commerce national managing editor Vince Versace and Stewart Carroll of Beck Technology.
The discussion focused on leadership and culture in the age of COVID-19, and Carroll’s company was as he put it “born from industry” and the culture is in effect the operating system of the organization. Carroll also pointed to how construction touches upon everyone’s lives both at work and at home, and if technology can help contractors and estimators make better decisions it will result in better projects and in turn impact the planer in a positive way.
Carroll also said revolutionizing the industry is a “big, grand term” but in concrete terms it both helps define roadmaps for progress for their own platform and in a broader sense illustrates where the industry will be in the near future. The interview also looks at how Beck pivoted to work-from-home at the beginning of the pandemic.
Stay tuned as we have more interviews with industry leaders and changemakers in the coming weeks along with our regular industry analysis!
