This week the Construction Record podcast focuses entirely on the work of Luis Vidal, the architect behind numerous airport projects including Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport, Zaragoza Airport in Spain, Denver International Airport, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and other infrastructure, mixed-use and residential structures.
The conversation between Vidal and Daily Commercial News and Journal of Commerce national managing editor Vince Versace ranged from how airports changed after 9/11 and will again in response to COVID-19 to the role of collaboration between owners, builders and designers and the push and pull of creativity and practicality when working on large, complicated projects such as an international airport.
Stay tuned next week when we showcase our first “crosspod,” a collaboration with Livecost, a construction podcast based in Ireland where Vince and host Ciaran Brennan compare and contrast construction industry experiences in both Canada and Europe.
