N.B.’s Crandall, Quebec’s Englobe Corp. join forces

MONCTON, N.B. – Englobe Corp., based in Quebec City, has announced a collaboration with Moncton, N.B.-based Crandall Engineering Ltd. through which Crandall will become a division of Englobe.

Crandall is a consulting engineering firm founded 60 years ago in Moncton, said a Feb. 7 media statement. Englobe is active across Canada in soils, materials and environmental engineering.

The new operation will have five offices and nearly 200 staff, including offices in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

Crandall and Englobe will continue to operate under their respective names. Mike Cormier, former president of Crandall, becomes the new vice-president of operations in Atlantic Canada for Crandall.
