Wood WORKS! BC recently held its 14th annual Wood Design Awards in downtown Vancouver to showcase wood-focused projects from firms across British Columbia.
Wood WORKS! BC executive director Lynn Embury-Williams spoke to the Journal of Commerce about wood’s growing footprint as a design choice, both in B.C., across Canada and on a global level.
Embury-Williams also spoke to the value of events such as the awards and other gathering where wood professionals are able to network and gain new perspectives on their respective disciplines.
