OHBA announces 2019 Awards of Distinction finalists

TORONTO — The Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) has announced its 2019 Awards of Distinction finalists.

Entries were submitted into 42 categories covering building, design, professional renovation and sales and marketing across Ontario.

Winners of the OHBA awards will be announced September 24 at the OHBA Annual Conference in Collingwood, Ont.

The OHBA will also announce the winner of the 2019 Ontario Home Builder of the Year award to a company that “exemplifies outstanding professionalism and integrity within their business, industry and community,” a release explained. Finalists in the category are Great Gulf, Minto Communities and Tridel.

Finalists for the Ontario Renovator of the Year award are Amsted Design-Build, Lagois Design Build Renovate and OakWood.

People’s Choice Award contenders are the top finalists in Project of the Year Low-Rise, and Project of the Year High or Mid-Rise awards categories: Acorn Developments for Limerick Point, Richmond Hill, Ont.; Collecdev for Tretti Condos, Toronto; Devron Developments Inc. for The Winslow, Toronto; Great Gulf for Whitby Meadows, Whitby, Ont.; Treasure Hill Home Corp. for Charbonnel, Barrie, Ont.; and Hines, Tridel for Aqualuna, Toronto.
