RCCAO podcast series wraps up, available for download

VAUGHAN, ONT. – The Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario (RCCAO) has wrapped up its nine-part podcast series covering critical issues related to the residential and civil construction sectors in Ontario with all episodes now available for download.

The podcasts feature discussions on the collapse of the Sidewalk Labs proposal for Toronto’s Port Lands, flood prevention in Toronto, delivering subway projects more cost effectively, reuse of aggregates, supporting skilled trades and building with mass timber, among other topics.

“We produced these podcasts to inform people about the importance of infrastructure investment to our collective future,” says RCCAO executive director Andy Manahan, noting October marks the 15th anniversary of the RCCAO. “Often critical issues such as the value of using recycled aggregate and asphalt are not addressed by the mainstream media, but these are essential topics and are of interest to the public. These podcasts are a great way to learn about the issues that are not necessarily on the radar of all Canadians.”
