TORONTO — Development firm MOD Developments has launched 10 luxury townhouses at 55C Bloor Yorkville Residences in Toronto.
The units average between 1,009 to 1,684 square feet, with two-storeys of living space. The townhouses have a grade-related entrance and a back door which connects to a ground-floor corridor with access to the concierge, lobby, underground parking garage and over 20,000 square feet of amenity space.
Designed by architectsAlliance, the development comprises 48-storeys and 641 units. Amenities include a gym, yoga studio and a multipurpose, indoor/outdoor lounge. The project is currently under construction and will be completed in 2023.
Over the past year, Toronto has seen townhomes become one of the most sought-after properties in the Greater Toronto Area due to a large majority of the population having to work remotely, states a release.
“The detached home market is seeing a surge in popularity, however, there is still an issue of affordability,” said Noorez Lalani, president of MOD Developments, in a statement. “Townhouses provide a happy medium between detached homes and condominiums.”
