Province ends construction restrictions — full activities permitted as of Monday

TORONTO — The Ontario government announced earlier this afternoon that both the Toronto and Peel public health zones will revert to Grey emergency status at 12:01 p.m. Monday, with all other zones out of lockdown, meaning resumption of commercial operations subject to some restrictions and the full opening of the construction sector.  

The end of the construction restrictions and resumption of full activities in the sector across the province has been confirmed by several government sources and construction stakeholders.
