Fours Season updates new project list
Canadian firm Four Seasons today updated its list of upcoming projects involving new builds and restoration projects. In the United States, Four Seasons will enter new markets such as Napa Valley, New Orleans, Fort Lauderdale, Minneapolis and Nashville with new hotels and private residences. In Taormina, Italy and Cartagena, Colombia, Four Seasons will be renovating heritage properties, and Four Seasons will be introducing a new waterfront resort in Tamarindo, Mexico.
Federal supply chain summit starts tomorrow
The federal government has announced details of its upcoming Federal Supply Chain Virtual Summit. The event, presented by Canada’s Procurement Ombudsman, will run March 23 to 25 with Pedro Antunes, chief economist of the Conference Board of Canada, among the speakers.
Global Energy Prize reports heightened interest
The Global Energy Prize today announced it has completed its 2020/2021 nomination cycle, setting new records despite the pandemic. Thirty-six countries are represented on the long list of nominees, three times the number in 2019 (12 countries) and nearly twice the 2020 number (20 countries). Out of the 106 nominations, 34 are devoted to conventional energy, 45 to non-conventional and 27 to new ways of energy application, including a “management” subcategory.
