Vancouver fusion company to build Oxfordshire fusion site
Vancouver-based nuclear startup General Fusion has chosen Oxfordshire, U.K. as the location for a pilot site for a $400 million facility on the UK Atomic Energy Authority’s Culham campus. Construction is set to begin next year with completion by 2025.
Winnipeg gives grants to 23 community centres
The City of Winnipeg is funding renovations for 23 community centres through the City of Winnipeg’s Community Centre Renovation Grant Program (CCRPG). The CCRGP received 27 applications requesting a total of just over $2 million, during the spring 2021 Intake period. Twenty-three applications totalling $1.8 million were approved.
