XUZHOU, China—Chinese crane manufacturer XCMG has moved up three places to take top spot in the ranking of the world’s top crane producers for 2020.
XCMG reported annual sales revenue of US$5.66 billion in 2020, topping the ICM20 list released by KHL Group last month.
The new champion reported 74 per cent year-on-year growth. In the first 10 months of 2021, XCMG has reported a 235-per-cent sales increase for customized hoisting machines.
Zoomlion, also from China, had growth of 58 per cent last year and moved into second place.
Germany’s Liebherr, formerly in top spot, ranks third after a decline in sales of 7.9 per cent.
Finland’s Konecranes, third last year and now in fourth place, saw a sales decline of 4.4 per cent over the previous year.
Fifth is the Chinese company ZPMC and another Chinese firm, Sany, is sixth.
