Houston-based TNT Crane & Rigging has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Eagle West Truck & Crane Inc., Eagle West Precast Ltd., Stampede Crane & Rigging Inc. and Stampede Crane & Rigging Ltd.
TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. stated in a release that "this acquisition provides a strong entrance into the rapidly growing energy end-markets in Western Canada. Stampede/Eagle West will serve as a platform for TNT’s anticipated future growth in Canada both organically and through further acquisitions."
Both Eagle West and Stampede focus on energy and energy-related end-markets.
The transaction is estimated to close in September 2014.
