Construction has reached the top floor of the Delmanor Prince Edward Retirement Residence in Etobicoke, Ont.
Tridel Corp. is the owner and Deltera Inc. is general contractor for the nine storey, 139-unit project and completion is scheduled for summer 2014. The second floor will have 24 assisted living units and floors three to eight will have 115 independent units. The building will be equipped with a fitness facility, movie theatre, library, spa, a salon, a landscaped rooftop terrace with putting green and one level of underground parking. The project was designed by Burka Architects Inc.
Subcontractors include: Anpro Environmental Group (excavating); Deep Foundation Contractors Inc. (shoring); Artcon Forming Ltd. (formwork/slab on grade); C+T Reinforcing Inc. (rebar); Toronto Redi Mix (concrete); Gottardo Masonry; Network Mechanical; OZZ Electric Inc.; Bellwood Sheet Metal Ltd, (ventilation); Tedesco Waterproofing Inc. (waterproofing/traffic topping); Primeline Windows and Doors (windows); Kone Inc. (elevators) and Viana Roofing.
