Construction is well underway for the Canmet MTL, McMaster Innovation Park project in Hamilton, Ont. Construction on the three-storey, designed for LEED Canada NC Platinum Certification building began in May 2009.
The facility will include office/meeting space, a display area, a photo studio and laboratory space with completion scheduled for October 2010.
EllisDon Corp. is the general contractor. The facility was designed by Diamond and Schmitt Architects Inc. Consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (structural) and Cobalt Engineering (mechanical/electrical).
