EDMONTON — The Canadian Construction Association has announced program details of the Canadian Design-Build Institute and Lean Construction Institute of Canada national conference set for Edmonton June 15 to 17.
The first day will be Education Day, followed by two days of presentations and sessions.
Bill Black, president of the Calgary Construction Association, will deliver a keynote address June 16 on how to incorporate Lean principles to make businesses more efficient.
Other expert speakers will include Markku Allison, Chandos executive, who will explore work planning and leveraging Last Planner to improve personal productivity; and two owners from Defence Construction Canada and the Department of National Defence who will discuss How to Bail your Integrated Project Delivery Project.
