REGINA — Regina-based Brandt Group of Companies has announced a deal with Nortrax Canada and Nortrax Quebec that will unite all John Deere Construction & Forestry dealerships in Canada under the Brandt banner.
With the acquisition of the Deere-owned Nortrax locations in Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador, Brandt will own and operate 56 John Deere Construction & Forestry dealerships across Canada with an additional 30 service outlets, stated a Sept. 6 release.
The deal is subject to due diligence and regulatory and other approvals and is expected to close Oct. 25.
When completed, Brandt will become largest privately owned John Deere Construction & Forestry dealership in the world.
