MONTREAL — Brivia Group and its partner Olymbec have announced the acquisition of a 300,000-square-foot lot in Montreal’s Griffintown neighbourhood with the aim of pursuing a multi-phase, mixed-use real estate project.
The property is in the quadrant formed by Guy, de la Montagne, William and Barre streets, stated a release. The project has been billed as Ilot de la Montagne.
“Although we are in the process of conceptualizing this future project, we already know that the Ilot de la Montagne will fit seamlessly into the urban environment by offering a variety of additional housing in the neighbourhood, in accordance with market needs, including institutional and commercial components,” stated Kheng Ly, CEO of Brivia Group, in a release.
The neighbourhood will be the site of an REM station.
