OTTAWA — Today is budget day on Parliament Hill, with Justin Trudeau’s Liberals set to release a list of initiatives that will most certainly impact Canadians during what are very uncertain times globally.
Here in Canada, industry stakeholders have made it known they would like to see commitments to improving the housing affordability crisis, along with improved procurement practices and significant infrastructure dollars to help bolster the economy.
Skilled trades initiatives and funding is also on the list, as well as improvements to the immigration system in order to combat the labour shortage.
