TORONTO — LIUNA International vice-president and Canadian director Joe Mancinelli recently received the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of leadership in community and across the labour movement.
“This prestigious honour recognizes Joe’s outstanding contributions and advocacy in all aspects of community building; from empowering career building opportunities, philanthropy and community advancement, business and economy, and his unwavering commitment to shaping a stronger Canada for today and for our future,” states a post on X.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal is given to someone who has made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.
