$50 million for Montreal wetlands infrastructure

MONTREAL — The federal government has announced $50 million in funding for a large-scale natural infrastructure project in Pierrefonds-Roxboro, in Montreal.

The project involves upgrading wetlands and stormwater outfalls including pumping stations and valves. The project will also contribute to creating a new park, set to be the largest urban park in Canada.
