MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — EllisDon is opening its doors to qualified Ukrainian refugees.
A statement issued by the firm’s president and CEO Geoffrey Smith and posted on LinkedIn recently said, “EllisDon is extending an invitation to any qualified Ukrainian refugee to join us now for a great career.
“We will work to find immediate employment to suit their qualifications, and will strive to work with our union brothers and sisters to place qualified tradespeople on projects within our industry.
“We are an industry in need of great people, and would like to help the great people of Ukraine.”
The statement was quickly supported by LinkedIn followers.
