Work is progressing on the York University Life Sciences Building in Toronto. Construction manager Vanbots, a division of Carillion Inc., has completion of the four-storey project scheduled for spring 2011. The facility will be equipped with lecture halls, teaching and research labs.

Work is progressing on the York University Life Sciences Building in Toronto. Construction manager Vanbots, a division of Carillion Inc., has completion of the four-storey project scheduled for spring 2011. The facility will be equipped with lecture halls, teaching and research labs.
The architects for the project are NXL Architects and SSG Architecture.
Consultants are: Blackwell Bowick Partnership (structural) and Crossey Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical).
Subtrades include: Crown Drain (site services); Blu Mar Excavating; Alliance Concrete Forming; Geo A. Kelson Co. Ltd. (mechanical); Urban Electrical Contractors; Flynn Canada Ltd. (roofing); Aquanorth (waterproofing); and Kone Inc. (elevators).
