Toronto construction worker dies after falling

A worker is dead after a fall at a Toronto construction site. The constructor is VHL Developments and the employer of the deceased is Excel Masonry.

“It appears that while working on the masonry, the deceased fell to the ground below,” explained Ministry of Labour spokesperson Matt Blajer.

Published reports say the worker suffered a head injury after falling about 10 metres.

The accident occurred at 30 Fifeshire Road, in a residential neighbourhood near Bayview Avenue and Highway 401.

The worker was pronounced dead at Sunnybrook Hospital.

The constructor is VHL Developments and the employer of the deceased is Excel Masonry.
