Toronto announces handful of COVID construction outbreaks

TORONTO – The City of Toronto has reported the following COVID outbreaks at Toronto construction and construction-related workplaces during the week prior to Dec. 16. The workplaces had 20 or more employees and were in active outbreak or had outbreaks that were declared over within the previous week:

∙ Atlas Tools and Machinery, outbreak declared Dec. 3, four cases;

∙ Crosslinx Transit Solutions, declared Dec. 6, three cases;

∙ Pomerleau, declared Dec. 3, six cases;

∙ WSN Construction, declared Dec. 7, six cases.

WSN was partially closed under a Section 22 order on Dec. 11.

The city will update information on workplace outbreaks every Thursday.
