Rob Koci, the publisher of Canadian Contractor magazine, shares his family history with us as he explains how the Daily Commercial News helped his father learn English after emigrating from Germany. Koci’s father learned the language by writing tenders for the DCN from 1960 to 1965. Koci’s father had originally worked in publishing in Germany and eventually found success in Canadian publishing.Â
