CCA holds first in-person conference in two years

OTTAWA—The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is bringing the industry together in-person at its first annual conference in two years to share best practices, network and stay current on industry trends.

Registration is now open for the 2022 annual conference, which will take place March 8 to 11 at the JW Parq Marriott Vancouver Resort, in Vancouver.

Headlining the event is former NHL player turned community leader and mental health advocate Jordin Tootoo. The keynote will focus on leadership and creating a culture of exceptional teamwork.

Sessions include a debate on the future direction of Canada’s trade economy and needed infrastructure; an insider’s perspective on the state of the nation and what this political landscape means for construction in Canada; a CEO roundtable discussion on how to scale-up your business; and panels on data trusts, green building, presentations on Indigenous infrastructure and tips on building a talent pipeline, states a CCA release. 

The conference also includes a celebration of members’ accomplishments with the National Awards program. 

CCA is also offering a live stream experience for those who are unable to make it in person. Registered delegates can view a selected sessions from their home or office. The mobile conference app and online event platform will also allow all delegates to engage and network.
