Work begins to take shape at the Upsidedown Condominiums phase one, designed by Burka Architects Inc., about seven kilometres northwest of downtown Toronto. Owner and general contractor Channington Development Ltd. along with construction manager TMG Builders have completion of the 297-unit project (formerly known as Electric City) scheduled for the end of 2012.

The building will have a recreation room, billiards/game room, exercise room, sauna a sports court, and two levels of underground parking.
The project was designed by Burka Architects Inc. and consultants are NCK Engineering Ltd. (structural) and CSEI Comfort Solutions Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical). Subtrades include: Soilcan (excavation); Canadian Precast Ltd.; Consolidated (2000) Inc. (formwork); Venice Construction Inc. (masonry); Associated Mechanical Installation; Campoli Electric Ltd.; Protech Roofing Waterproofing Ltd. (roofing); and Schindler Elevator Corp.
