Work is progressing on the Downtown Honda’s New Flagship Dealership at 47 Eastern Ave. in Toronto, Ont.
Northway Construction Co. Ltd. is general contractor of the two-storey building equipped with roof deck parking. The building will have a ramp to take vehicles from the ground floor to roof top. The project requires very large caissons as they will also support the future Acura building above an 11-storey building, which will be built on top of the Acura building making it 15-storeys in total. Completion on the Honda Dealership is scheduled for August 2014 and the project was designed by Plaston Architects Limited Consultants are: Ian Dunlop and Associates; Yolles (a CH2M Hill company) and Aegis Engineering Inc.
