Window installation continues for the Ion Condos at Keele Street and Wilson Avenue in Toronto, Ont.
Dominus Construction Group is construction manager and the owners are Fernbrook Homes/Cityzen Development Group. The project includes one 10-storey, 200 unit building with a four level above ground parking structure and completion has been scheduled for fall 2014.
The building will have a guest suite and amenities on the fifth floor will include a fitness room, party room and a bar. The project was designed by Architecture Unfolded and consultants are Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); United Engineering Ltd. (mechanical/electrical) and Cole Engineering Group Ltd. (civil). Subtrades include: Premform Ltd. (formwork); Cobell Drywall Ltd.; Teskey Concrete; D. Zentil Mechanical; Cooltech Services (sheet metal); Zed Electric; Toro Aluminum Ltd. (windows) and Otis Canada Inc. (elevators).
